Research Grants Available 2011

Category 1: General Research Grant up to $25,000 per annum

These grants are intended to fund initial or exploratory research, or as bridging or as supplementary support for externally funded research.

 These grants are open to individuals, units or departments of Modbury Hospital and Grants may be used to support clinically relevant research in collaboration with any of the three South Australian Universities and the relevant divisions of General Practice.

Small grants may be awarded  in this category to cover the purchase of minor equipment or as a contribution towards the purchase of major equipment providing there is an associated research application.

Category 2: Seed Research Grant to support new researcher up to $10,000 per annum

These grants are intended to fund initial or exploratory research for a NEW researcher.

 These grants are open to individuals, units or departments of Modbury Hospital. Grants may be used to support clinically relevant research in collaboration with any of the three South Australian Universities and the relevant divisions of General Practice. 

Small grants may be awarded to cover the purchase of minor equipment or as a contribution towards the purchase of major equipment providing there is an associated research application.

Higher Degree Scholarship up to $25,000 per annum
