How We Can
Help
Serving the
community
Modbury
Hospital Foundation was originally established by a group of committed medical
professionals from the Hospital and Adelaide University in 1991.
The aim of the
Foundation was to provide funding for medical research to help Modbury Hospital
attract and retain the best medical staff available.
Today,
the Foundation’s role has broadened to include the provision of services in
managing the Hospital Kiosk and Gift Shop 7 days a week.
The proceeds from these
services are used to fund medical research and to improve patient facilities in
partnership with Modbury Hospital.
The
Hospital Kiosk and Gift Shop have become intrinsic to the local community as a
wonderful way to contribute to Modbury Hospital.
Our Foundation volunteers contributed
over $800,000 in hours served in 2009* to the provision of services to the Kiosk
and Gift Shops.
